Xavier Coumoul is a professor of toxicology and biochemistry at Université Paris Cité and, in this capacity, co-directs the university’s toxicology–ecotoxicology programme. His research focuses on characterising the modes of action of environmental contaminants. He heads the Inserm HEALTHFEX unit and the INSERM METATOX team, which concentrates on various pathologies including cancer and metastasis formation, chronic liver diseases, and neurodegenerative disorders. Metabolic dysregulations are among the most extensively studied modes of action in his team. He is the author of over one hundred peer-reviewed articles in the field of cellular and molecular toxicology.

Camille Bloomfield is a poet, translator, and senior lecturer at Université Paris Cité. She works with poetry in all its forms: writing, performance, digital practice, translation, spoken word, research, teaching… A member of the CERILAC research laboratory, she is co-founder of Outranspo (Ouvroir de translation potencial) and a member of Oplepo, the Italian cousin of Oulipo. Her texts have been published as books (Les gens qui datent, 2022; Poèmes typodermiques, 2023, Les Venterniers éditions) as well as in journals and anthologies (Drôles de Valentines, Héros-Limite, 2016). She is also a member of the editorial board of the journal Po&sie and recently published a translation-recreation of a play by Georges Perec and Eugen Helmlé in an enriched edition (La Machine, Le Nouvel Attila, 2025).
