Xavier Coumoul
Xavier Coumoul is a professor of toxicology and biochemistry at Université Paris Cité and, in that capacity, co-directs the university’s toxicology–ecotoxicology program. His research focuses on characterizing the modes of action of environmental contaminants. He leads the INSERM METATOX team, which focuses on various pathologies, including cancer and metastasis, chronic liver diseases, and neuro degenerative diseases. Metabolic dysregulation is one of the most extensively studied modes of action by his team. He has authored over a hundred peer-reviewed articles in the field of cellular and molecular toxicology.
Camille Bloomfield
Camille Bloomfield is a poet and lecturer at Paris Cité University. She explores poetry in allits forms: writing, performance, digital media, translation, slam, research, teaching, and more. A member of the CERILAC research lab, she is a co-founder of Outranspo (Ouvroir de translation potencial) and a member of Oplepo, the Italian counter part to Oulipo. Her work has been published in journals (L’Intranquille, Remue.net, Drunken Boat…) and inanthologies (Drôles de Valentines, Héros-Limite, 2016). She is also a member of the editorial board of the journal Po&sie and recently published a play by Georges Perec and Eugen Helmlé in an expanded edition (La Machine, Le Nouvel Attila, 2025).
This project is being carried out in collaboration with the Villa Medici in Rome, the Culture Department of the Université Paris Cité, and the CERILAC Laboratory at Université Paris Cité.
