    Created in Los Angeles in 2007 by Sean Dockray, director of Telic Arts Exchange, The Public School is today an inter­na­tional net­work under con­struc­tion func­tioning in inde­pen­dent ways in Paris, New York, Philadelphia, San Juan, Berlin, Brussels, Helsinki…

    The Public School Paris is a pro­ject that allows anyone to pro­pose sem­i­nars at Bétonsalon (or other venues in Paris). The Public School web­site offers the pos­si­bility do post propo­si­tions and to enroll classes. The Public School’s Parisian Committee decides which sem­i­nars take place.

    The Public School’s Parisian Committee is com­posed by: Mathieu Kleyebe Abonnenc (artist), Virginie Bobin (curator), Mélanie Bouteloup (director of the Bétonsalon – centre d’art et de recherche), Grégory Castéra (Laboratoires d’Aubervilliers), Sean Dockray (founder of The Public School), Nicolas Fourgeaud (art critic), Sandra Terdjman (Kadist Art Foundation), Mathilde Villeneuve (ENSA Paris Cergy).
