    Individual visit

Our team is present to accompany you, if you wish, in the discovery of the current exhibition. You will find a variety of tools to guide you during your visit:

The exhibition booklet (free, French/English bilingual), published for every exhibition, helps you gain a deep understanding of each artistic project through different types of texts (essays, interviews, fiction, poetry, etc.) and a range of images.
All the brochures can be consulted here.

A room sheet with the titles of the works and their captions.

The library: Bétonsalon’s documentary resources are displayed in a concrete bookcase, a work by Romain Grateau called Grand tourisme à injection (2021). For every exhibition we offer a selection of works that resonate with and extend the display. The selection evolves according to the events, revealing the research and considerations that motivate the site and the team. They can be consulted over a cup of coffee or tea in the entrance hall.

Various events, like meetings, writing workshops and collective reading and learning sessions are organized around the library…

    And for the youngest:

Bétonpapier: This educational tool, mainly intended for 6-11 year-olds, is a riso print poster. It allows children to better appropriate the exhibition by paying attention to details, moving about in the space and expressing themselves through drawing and games.

Illustrator Pia-Melissa Laroche created the first three prints and Antoine Eckart, the 4th edition, with the support of Catalogue Général graphic design studio. They are printed by Atelier Quintal.
The prints can be consulted here.

    Workshop visit

By including time for artistic practice in the guided visit, the workshop-visit allows visitors to explore the ongoing exhibitions differently. After a time of observation and discussion focusing on the works on display, it is time to move on to practice, and try to create shapes and apply the processes observed during the exhibition! The workshops are offered in different formats for every exhibition (for children, families, adolescents, intergenerational, adults, etc.).

Duration: one hour and a half up to 2 hours

→ Wednesdays and Saturdays workshops, followed by a snack. You can consult the details of the workshops on offer in our calendar and on the ongoing exhibition page.

    Information and registration: publics@betonsalon.net

The workshops are designed by the team of Bétonsalon.
