Living in Wexford, Orla Barry guides her sheep daily through the green and wet landscapes of the Irish Sea: moss green, storm grey, icy turquoise, foam white and sandy brown are just some of the shades that colour her walks. Using wet felting, we will seek to create landscapes in the colours of these pastures. Together with the participants, we will rub and roll wool fibres in soapy water so that they become entangled and transform into a thick surface. Each person will be able to create their own piece of landscape, letting their imagination run wild!
