An endless night (without sunrise or sunset).
In a post-we’re-not-quite-sure-what Paris, cIel do not sleep. They walk, drift, and ruminate on lost loves and obsessions.
la kate is the story of an insomnia, a mental loop, where Paris becomes an unstable backdrop and a site of projection.
la kate tells of that suspended moment when one walks in circles to avoid falling—where, perhaps, something is still trying to survive.

This text emerges from a collective writing process conducted on Framapad, a collaborative word-processing tool, to which the authors contributed either occasionally or regularly, following various modes and rhythms. It was written as part of “INFUNDIOSXS” (2023–2024), a multi-voiced, multi-handed writing cycle developed within the “Writing with Mittens” workshops, initiated by Elena Lespes Muñoz at Bétonsalon.
