    Bétonsalon – Center for Art and Research, The École Nationale Supérieure d’Arts de Paris Cergy and Ecole 42, announce The Hackathon « Data & art, expanded ».

    The Hackathon "Data & Art, expanded" is an inten­sive work­shop free for sub­scribers, to bring together young artists and coders to develop pro­jects devel­oping inno­va­tive pro­posals for artistic and cul­tural chal­lenges of tomorrow.

    It will take place over five days in school 42 and will be super­vised by the artist Franck Leibovici, along with the art center and research team Bétonsalon with the com­plicity of the Centre Pompidou. Transdisciplinary teams will be formed on site and work on pro­jects that will be pre­sented at the end before a jury.

    Franck Leibovici, Paris
    Franck Leibovici is a poet and artist. His pub­li­ca­tions include quelques sto­ry­boards, ubuweb, 2003; 9+11, ubuweb, 2005; des doc­u­ments poé­tiques, Al Dante, 2007; por­traits chi­nois, Al Dante, 2007; (des formes de vie) - une écologie des pra­tiques artis­tiques, Questions théoriques / Les Laboratoires d’Aubervilliers, 2012; let­tres de jérusalem with Joana Hadjithomas and Khalil Joreige, spam, 2012; fil­i­buster (une lec­ture), Jeu de Paume, 2013; and des récits ordi­naires with Grégory Castéra and Yaël Kreplak, Les Presses du réel, 2014. He has spent sev­eral years working with nota­tion sys­tems from exper­i­mental music, dance, and con­ver­sa­tion anal­ysis to create a mini-opera for non-musi­cians, which is not intended to be a live per­for­mance, with "low inten­sity" con­flicts as its theme. The ten sequences from this mini-opera for non-musi­cians have been pre­sented in museums, arts venues, music fes­ti­vals, and dance cen­tres, in France and else­where.
